Pesto

3 packed cups fresh basil leaves
2 large cloves fresh garlic
1/2 cup pine nuts
3/4 cup fresh parsley
3/4 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
salt to taste

Combine all ingredients in blender or cuisinart. Blend until mixture is a smooth paste.

Toss with hot, drained pasta or freeze.
