Amounts for 1-1/2 Cups Charoset
2 apples, peeled and chopped small
1/2 cup blanched silvered almonds, chopped small
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1-1/2 to 2 T honey
1/8 cup sweet grape wine

Combine everything. It will look like too much liquid, but let it rest a while and the liquid will be absorbed. Betsy uses the food processor to chop the apples (2 apples at a time) and the almonds. It's best to purchase almonds that are already slivered or sliced. Generally, this is made the day before the seder so it can sit a while.

6 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup honey
1 cup sweet grape wine
